This response which AAP took is a part of a series of other interventions aiming to support families affected by the outbreak of the virus and strengthen their resilience and their food security to counteract the impact of this pandemic. It also aims to protect them so that social and economic impacts caused by the full lockdown can be alleviated.

AAP targeted poor families that lost their livelihoods because of lockdown and they have people with disabilities, and they are already headed by women. Targeting those families in Karameh village will mitigate its suffering caused by demolition notifications of water springs and land confiscation as other Palestinian villages located in Area “C” in the West Bank.
