Hebron-West Bank - ActionAid-Palestine(AAP) organized an introductory meeting to identify the needs of young entrepreneurs in the field of technical support for entrepreneurial, profitable and community enterprises  in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron, through “ Start your Business” project that AAP implements in partnership with Bethlehem Business Incubator (BBI) and the Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC) and funded by  the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS)  through International Voluntary Service for Development (VIS ). The project aims mainly to promote community entrepreneurship among Palestinian youth.

This meeting targeted approximately 25 young people who are currently leading entrepreneurial enterprises. This meeting aimed at identifying their needs for specialized professional and technical trainings necessary to develop their projects and build their administrative and financial capabilities and leadership and marketing skills.

At the end of the meeting, young men and women agreed that their needs revolved around specialized training in marketing for existing projects, e-marketing, and financial management of these projects.

It is worth mentioning that “Start Your Business” is a three-year program that aims to strengthen the economic empowerment of youth in Palestine through the development of a positive environment for the creation of new start-ups, traditional and social businesses in the areas Bethlehem, East Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah, Tulkarem, Jenin and Jericho.
