ActionAid Palestine to Provide Entrepreneurs with Mentorship for Developing Social and Profit Start-Ups
Bethlehem-West Bank-ActionAid Palestine(AAP) provides young entrepreneurs with non-financial mentorship services .Those services targeted 30 entrepreneurs in the governorates of Hebron and Bethlehem to support the youth start-ups through “ Start your Business” project that AAP implements in partnership with Bethlehem Business Incubator (BBI) and the Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC) and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) through International Voluntary Service for Development (VIS ).
Mentorship services aimed at better enhancing the means of developing entrepreneurial enterprises by raising awareness and increasing opportunities of networking between start-ups and different economic and social sectors. Entrepreneurs received special sessions in the fields of law, economy, commerce, finance and tax to facilitate their financial and accounting transactions that they need in translating their individual and collective initiatives into real meaningful and economic projects.
The mentorship services offered entrepreneurs an opportunity to identify their strategic priorities and suggest the best and most developed scientific and practical consultative solutions that could be applied on proper basis according to accounting laws and valid regulations in Palestine.
These consultative services supporting young entrepreneurs servs the vision of AAP in supporting young people to access equal opportunities at economic and social levels and in democratic participation.

ActionAid in Palestine (AAP) is a part of global federation working for social justice and gender equality and eradicate poverty in more than 45 countries around the world. AAP started its work in Palestine in 2007 to strengthen the resilience of Palestinian People as ActionAid believes that they should enjoy their rights to freedom, justice and self-determination. AAP implements a number of programs through its engagement with communities and women and youth groups seeking to empower them and enhance their influential civil and political participation to understand their rights and undertake collective activism to address the protracted rights violations resulting from the prolonged occupation of Palestine. AAP works simultaneously to enhance their leadership capacity and knowledge to practice their citizenship in holding authorities and other duty bearers to account.
