ActionAid Palestine wishes a successful school year 2023\2024 for 1.4 million Palestinian students who head to their schools today in Palestine at the start of the new school year 2023\2024.
Palestinian students continue showing creativity and willingness to enjoy their right to education despite many challenges they face. Three Palestinian schools have been demolished by Israeli occupation authorities across the occupied West Bank in the last 12 months, impacting 78 students. There are 58 schools are under the threat of demolition by the Israeli authorities.
ActionAid Palestine works in partnership in with the Palestinian ministry of education and other local partners to support improvement of infrastructure of Palestinian schools in the governorate of Hebron. ActionAid also supports recreational activities and summer camps and relief-psychological support activities to improve the welfare of children and educational environmental. AAP works in Gaza with local partners to provide children and their mothers with psychological -social support.
