ActionAid Palestine to Support Marketing the Products of Palestinian Women Entrepreneurs

Hebron – Occupied Palestinian Territories – ActionAid Palestine (AAP) supported the marketing of several products by Palestinian women entrepreneurs at the "Palestinian National Product" exhibition, organized by Al-Masar Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, which was held in the city of Hebron. This participation aims to enhance the marketing and displaying of Palestinian women’s local and handmade products.
The exhibition included several Palestinian local companies and a number of women entrepreneurs from various parts of the West Bank. Women group supported by AAP presented their food products. 
This economic event aims to enhance opportunities for consumers, manufacturers, producers, importers, and traders to examine the quality of national industry and its competitive ability at local and international levels in addition to raising citizens’ awareness of national products and promoting them on various levels.
ActionAid Palestine seeks to provide opportunities for women’s groups to participate in such exhibitions, and to support Palestinian women entrepreneurs by promoting their products in festivals, as well as improving their access to education and training on essential marketing skills to develop their projects.
ActionAid Palestine’s approach to enhancing the economic empowerment of Palestinian women is based on addressing the root causes of women’s marginalization and gender inequality in society. This approach also seeks to strengthen women’s collective action by helping them organize themselves and establish networks and associations that represent their interests and concerns.
The economic activities supported by ActionAid, alongside awareness-raising activities, contribute to empowering women economically and socially by improving their access to productive resources. This is done in parallel with addressing the structural causes of discrimination and violence against women through collective efforts to analyze the social, political, and economic context that affects all aspects of life.
