Anwar Ladadweha Utilizes her knowledge and training in serving Palestinian Women
Anwar is one of the ministry of labor (MoL) employees who got enrolled in the “Following the best practices during the implementation of the policies, bylaws and strategies training” which focused on enhancement and promotion of women engagement in the Palestinian labor market. This training was organized by ActionAid-Palestine under the INTERNESA Project , which aims to weapon the public sectors employees with knowledge /skills and attitudes needed for best practices implementation while applying the policies, strategies and bylaws.
Anwar is from the gender unit/MoL who is very familiar with the laws, strategies and policies which govern the employment sector in Palestine, especially the women employment opportunities, Anwar showed a deep knowledge when it comes to the women challenges , gaps which face the women employment. The lack of skills and competencies of women. Anwar took the initiative in the day 3 of the training and prepare for good presentation regarding the laws and policies which help the women enrollment in the labor market. Her presentation was very organized, concrete and full of information. Anwar Inspired her colleagues and help them to get involved actively in the training.
During the last day of the training, specifically in the evaluation and assessment session Anwar said: “when my line manager invited me to the training, I wasn’t feel comfortable, especially when I knew that, the training will focus on policies , strategies and bylaws, I came reluctant to the training… after the first day, I felt difference in the program, which kept me attached to the it . that was the way how we develop our knowledge, how we change the rigid information to fun . Now with that, I am looking forward for any opportunity where I can make a difference in a life of a woman”
One woman means one family ..one family means a community.
