Hebron-West Bank-The activities that ActionAid Palestine (AAP) organized on the occasion of 16 Days campaign of Activism against Gender-based Violence (GBV) advocated for the need for improving the conditions of the Palestinian Women, protect them and reform laws regarding women. Those demands were raised through many youth and media activities AAP organized under the international theme of the global campaign for 2020 which focuses on the suffering of working women in the informal sector and adherence to ILO convention 190 which recognizes the right of everyone to a world of work free from violence and harassment.

The media activities that AAP organized through social media and radio and TV episodes aimed at contributing to ending violence against women, raising awareness of youth about their labor rights namely young working women in the informal sector and demanding to reform laws in this regard.16 days camping for ending GBV coincided with the campaign of “Challenge to Support Women’s Rights during COVID-19” through AAP’s projects of “Social Innovation” and “Start your Business”.

Active youth groups of AAP over the West Bank contributed to demanding to immediately   legislate the Family Protection Bill. They raised this demand by participating in a dialogue session, signing a mural petition, and releasing oranges balloons to express their refusal to GBV. These activities were implemented in partnership with Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) and Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Against Domestic Against Women.
